My friend Maggie was gracious enough to let me invade her space and to be the first to take part of my Beach Nests series. Walking into her sunlit filled apartment just two blocks from the ocean you are immmediately drawn into this happy space. I wanted to do this series to share a peek into a portion of the beach city population and to make the point that whether it's an apartment, guest house, bungalow, or a room with a view, where you live is a reflection of your life's journey. No matter the size of your space, it's important to make your home a place that refects who you are. Your home should rise up and meet you when you walk in!
The great part of living in the Beach Cities is there are many great places to live where you can walk out your front door and see the ocean. Maggie grew up in Manhattan Beach and is now busy starting her Real Estate career, so coming home to a tranquil spot where she can smell the ocean and have some down time is important to her.
Maggie has done some of my favorite small space decorating tips which is to display your pretty things and frame prints and quotes that have meaning to you.
I'm so happy to be able to give you a peek into beach living, and I hope to bring you more examples of Beach Nests and the people who live in them in the coming weeks.
