I'm loving my new job as the creative director for The Stylist LA. My first task was to get the new studio up and running. With direction from The Stylist LA's founder, Emily, I set out to create a space that would be fun to work in, as well as hang out in. I think that was accomplished. I repurposed some items from the old studio, did some shopping at Ikea, and sourced a lot of items from flea markets and Etsy. The studio is now open for business and clients can come in and try on dresses in a space that is welcoming and just a fun place to be!

I wanted to share my ideas for things to do or give on Mother's Day.

New local restaurant, Chez Soi, is on my mind these days because I just had an amazing meal there. I'm in love with this site Birdaria and all the wonderful things they make. You can customize canvases, placemats, and trays to make beautiful unique gifts and home decor. Coffee table books are one of my favorite things, so I always love to give and receive them on any occasion. Any day is a good day to visit Cake Bakeshop in Manhattan Beach, but it's particularly fun to have them make you a custom cake or treat. Lastly, my love for Terranea never subsides so a gift certificate to their amazing spa is at the top of my list of amazing gifts to give.
