Indian Pink

Since I have a not-so-secret passion for interior decor, I'm always thrilled when there is a new source around town for browsing anything having to do with it. Indian Pink is a new shop that carries wonderful pillows made from textiles sourced from around the world, along with some great one of a kind furniture and decor pieces. The shop has popped up from the owners' love of well-worn (and loved) items, to their passion for using batiks and wonderfully woven fabrics to make pillows. They are setting up for a grand opening, about which I will keep you posted. In the meantime they are located at 805 Manhattan Ave., Manhattan Beach.

I'll put that on my check list. Oriental decor objects trigger me, I love them and my house is filled with them. They've inspired me with some nice remodeling ideas over the years.

LOVE this store. I live right around the corner on 8th Street and have always loved this space and fantasized many times of what kind of store I'd make it. Was so excited when Indian Pink moved in. I met the gentleman that owns it with his wife as they were fixing it up and fell in love with the pillows - I bought a few and can't wait to buy more but waiting for my sofa to arrive so I know what will work best. You captured the store perfectly. Love it. nice to see a blog focusing on the South Bay.

Another beautiful layout, Teri. That store looks amazing. I've been wanting some ethnic print throw pillows and it looks like this store has some good ones. Hm, may need to make another trip out to the South bay one of these weekends.
